Microbase participated in the Conferences organised by infokids.gr in March 2026, following an invitation to Antonis Psaras to speak to children, teachers, and parents about the pitfalls of the internet.
The Conferences took place on Monday, March 9, in Agrinio and on Saturday, March 14, at the Concert Hall in Athens.
The events aimed to open a substantive discussion about excessive screen use, gaming, social media and children’s exposure to dangerous content on the internet.
Antonis Psaras, as a Certified Ethical Hacker, showed children through an interactive game competition how easily they can fall into tricky topics on the internet. He insisted on not acting casually in front of screens, asking their parents when they don’t know and always being suspicious when accepting challenges.
The participation and response were great, since children and parents raised many questions that were answered.
At both events, a draw was held with a prize of 1 laptop.
The winners were a) in Agrinio, a student of the 1st High School class from the 2nd High School of Agrinio “Kosmas Aitolos” and b) in Athens, a student of the 4th High School class (A’ Likeiou) from the “Hellini Paideia” Educational Institution.
This initiative by infokids.gr was embraced by the public, and Microbase participated within the framework of its social sensitivity, always “Putting Man at the Core”.
